A family owned business located in Nottingham Bestwood Village. 

Driven by a lifelong passion for crafts like cross-stitch, beadwork, embroidery, and knitting, I turned my hobby into a business in 1993.  From selling creations to friends and family as a child, I dreamed of owning my own shop.  That dream became a reality with the launch of my wool and craft store.  Our core values remain central to everything we do, and we're proud of our consistent success in meeting our goals.

Our Journey:

• 1993: The business began as a retail shop on Long Lane, selling wool, cross-stitch and latch hook kits, haberdashery, and beads.
• 2000: Mail order catalogue sales were introduced, expanding the business's reach.
• 2005: The online store, www.needlecraftandbeads.co.uk, was launched.
• 2010: The retail shop relocated to a larger, 600sq ft space in Watford.
• 2012: To accommodate growing online sales, half of the Watford shop was converted into a warehouse.
• 2013: The Watford location transitioned fully into an online warehouse.
• 2016: Operations moved to a larger, 1400 sq ft warehouse in High Wycombe.
• 2018 to present: The business relocated again, this time to a significantly larger, 4500sq ft warehouse in Nottingham.
• 2025: Still going strong after 32 years in business!

If you're not happy with any item, you can return it within 14 days for a full refund, provided it's in resalable condition. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of receipt, including a photo, so we can address the issue promptly and improve our packaging.
