Liquid latex that you can use for many different purposes. Latex adhesive is non-slip material. Apply this adhesive for a slip-resistant effect under the soles of socks, slippers & more.
Capacity: 250ml
Quantity: 1 bottle
General use: Apply the rubber milk with a brush or spatula and then clean it with warm water and soap Bonding: Apply glue to the surfaces you want to glue together. Assemble the parts and leave them to dry for the next day. Textiles glued with latex can be washed in a machine on a gentle cycle, e.g., with wool detergent Mould-making: Spray the workpiece you want “copied” to a mould with casting oil so that the latex mould can be removed at the end. Then apply latex to the piece with a brush and allow it to dry. Repeat these two steps until the rubber mould is about 1 mm thick and finally strip off the mould. Non-slip surfaces: Apply the liquid latex as dots or stripes and allow it to dry Please note: We recommend that you work in a well-ventilated room, as there is some ammonia in the liquid latex.
Liquid latex is a practical material that can be used in several projects. Here are a few examples:
- Make your slippers, blankets and other underlays non-slip
- Create moulds that you can use to create figures of plaster or hobby concrete
- Use the raw latex for role-play materials such as weapons, costumes and masking
.
Liquid latex is also called raw latex, rubber milk and moulded rubber. It is one substance but goes by different names. Since latex is actually a natural material tapped from rubber trees, many people call it rubber milk. It comes in liquid form from the trees, but it is actually the added ammonia in the rubber milk that keeps it liquid. Latex is easy to work with, but we do not recommend that children use it. If you are an adult, you can easily use liquid latex, as long as there is good ventilation where you are working.
