Collage Frames with Silk Clay Designs

What's included

Create your own fun 3D pictures with collage frames and Silk Clay. Make a butterfly, a fish under the water, or fill the frame with crazy little monsters. Only your imagination sets the limits. This kit includes everything you need.

• Collage Frame, 15 x 15 cm
• Silk Clay, neon colours (6 x 14 g)
• Plus Color Craft Paint, mint green

How to make it

1. Paint the frame with 1-2 coats of Plus Color craft paint if you want a coloured frame.
2. Fill the frame with a thin layer of Silk Clay in your background colour, pressing it right out to the edges.
3. Model a design, such as a butterfly, from Silk Clay. Shape the individual parts outside the frame first so you can adjust them.
4. Press the parts onto the frame.
5. Add details to make it unique: small balls for eyes, black pupils, patterns on the wings, and little flowers around the edge.
6. Use modelling tools for extra details, like grooves in the petals.
7. You can make other designs too, such as a fish with drawn-on fins and scales, or a whole frame of fun monsters.
8. To hang your finished artwork, add a self-adhesive picture hanger to the back of the frame.
